The 2024 ACR Annual Conference organized by the Association for Consumer Research took place from September 26-28 in Paris. Inspired by the Olympic Committee’s moto the conference was themed STRONGER TOGETHER and brought not only various consumer behavior researchers together, but also embraced the diversity of ideas, and strengthened unity and solidarity in an often fragmented and divisive (consumer) world.
Prof. Dr. Andrea Giuffredi-Kähr, Dr. Andrea Bublitz, and Malin Pimper of URPP Social Networks attended the conference.
Malin Pimper and Prof. Dr. Andrea Giuffredi-Kähr presented their working paper poster titled “The Art of Sustainable Speaking: How Communicating Consumers’ Understanding of Sustainability Increases Organic Consumption” in the working paper session Consumer Practices in Diverse Contexts. The research provides valuable insights into how to effectively communicate sustainability to consumers.
In addition, the University of Zurich and the URPP Social Networks were represented with two more working paper posters:
